Black Cars Black Cars, released in 1985 was Gino's first attempt to get back into the mainstream after the success "Nightwalker". At this point, he had signed with a new label, had a new sound and a new look. Crazy Life

Crazy Life We can imagine the trials and tribulations that Gino and Joe Vannelli suffered trying to get a record deal. The year was 1973 and trying to get a record deal was not easy. After packing up and moving from Montreal to LA, they finally got a break. Herb Alpert (the A in A & M records) finally listened, and Crazy Life was their first project together. Even at this early stage, the Gino trademarks are evident - poetic lyrics, arresting vocals and music that draws the best from other genres, and is distinctly Vannelli.
